Last updated: January 2025

Perceptron is designed with privacy in mind. We believe in transparency about how your data is handled. The short version: we don't collect your data.

Website

No Tracking or Analytics

This website does not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or user identification mechanisms. We don't know who visits, how often, or from where.

No Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. We use Tailwind CSS via CDN for styling, which does not track users.

Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Render) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and request information for security and operational purposes. These logs are managed by Render according to their privacy policy.

Perceptron Application

Local Data Only

All data generated by Perceptron (discovered devices, scan history, settings) is stored locally on your computer. Nothing is sent to external servers.

No Telemetry

Perceptron does not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or any other telemetry data. The application operates entirely offline after installation.

Network Scanning

When scanning your network, Perceptron communicates only with devices on your local network. No scan data is transmitted outside your network.

Update Checks

Perceptron may check for updates via GitHub. This involves a standard HTTPS request to GitHub's servers but does not transmit any personal or scan data.
